Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Bedford Hotel & Congress Centre, Brussels

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can walk straight to it after baggage reclaim.

The Drive to the Hotel

The route covers 16 km (10 miles) and normally takes around 27 minutes. Most of the trip leads from Zaventem towards the centre of Brussels, and the last stretch runs through city streets. Morning and late-afternoon rush hours can slow the ring road and the inner city, so allow some extra time if you are heading to a meeting or a congress session with a fixed start. This is an occasionally booked route, but the drive itself is straightforward.

Which Vehicle Fits Your Group

For one to three travellers, a private taxi with three seats is the simple choice, and a four-passenger taxi gives a little more room for a family or for colleagues with luggage. Larger parties can book a private minibus. The sizes are:

• 8 seats for small teams or families
• 16 and 24 seats for delegations and tour groups
• 32 to 64 seats for conference groups and large events

Pick the vehicle by passenger count, and think about the amount of luggage as well.

The Bedford and Other Places to Stay in Brussels

The Bedford Hotel & Congress Centre combines hotel rooms with meeting and conference facilities, which is why it suits both business travellers and groups visiting the Belgian capital. It sits in the city centre, so many of Brussels' main sights are within reach on foot or by a short ride. If you want to compare other long-established hotels in Brussels, well-known names include the Hotel Metropole on Place de Brouckère, the Hotel Amigo near the Grand Place, and the Hotel Le Plaza on Boulevard Adolphe Max.
