Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Beckerich

The drive from Brussels Airport to Beckerich

The route covers 196 km (122 miles) and typically takes 2 h 5 m. Most of the journey is on motorway, heading south-east out of the Brussels area and across the border into Luxembourg, before the last stretch leads through quieter country roads to the village. Beckerich is a less frequently booked destination, so the transfer is arranged on request, and your driver will plan the trip specifically for you. Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or late-afternoon rush around Brussels, or in heavy rain or winter conditions, when the drive can run longer than usual.

Choosing the right vehicle

For solo travellers, couples and small families, a private taxi is the simplest choice: one option seats 1-3 passengers, the other 1-4 passengers. Pick the larger one if you are travelling with four people or carrying bulky bags, since a two-hour drive is more comfortable with some extra space.

Larger parties can choose a private minibus. The 8-seat minibus suits extended families or small business groups, while the 16, 24, 32, 40 and 48-seat minibuses cover tour groups, wedding parties, school trips and company outings. Everyone travels together in one vehicle, so nobody has to coordinate separate arrivals at the other end.

Beckerich as a destination

Beckerich is a small village in the west of Luxembourg, in a rural area close to the Belgian border. It is a calm, green corner of the country rather than a busy tourist centre, which makes it a good base for walking, cycling and quiet countryside stays. Because the village is small, it helps to have the exact street address or the name of your accommodation ready, so the driver can take you directly to the door.
