Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Baileux

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Baileux

The route covers 125 km (78 miles) and normally takes about 1 h 36 m. Most of the distance is on main roads heading south from Zaventem, and the last part runs through quieter countryside. Baileux is not a frequently booked destination, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route. Allow some extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush around Brussels, since congestion near the capital is the most common cause of delays.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For smaller parties, a Private Taxi is available for 1-3 passengers or for 1-4 passengers, which is the better choice if you have a few suitcases. Larger families and groups can book a Private Minibus with 8 or 16 seats. For wedding parties, company outings or tour groups, the fleet extends to minibuses with 24, 32, 40 and 48 seats. Pick the vehicle by the total number of travellers and the amount of luggage, and you will travel comfortably for the whole 1 h 36 m.

About Baileux

Baileux is a small village in the Chimay area of Hainaut province, in southern Belgium close to the French border. The surroundings are rural and green, with woodland and farmland, so it suits travellers who want a calm base rather than a busy city stay. Because it is a small place, it is worth sharing the exact address of your final destination when you book, so the driver can plan the last stretch properly.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The location is easy to find after collecting your luggage, so you can meet your driver without any searching.
