Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Assesse

The drive from Zaventem to Assesse

Assesse lies 79 km (50 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive usually takes about 53 minutes. The route heads south-east towards the province of Namur. Most of the time is spent on motorway, so the journey is straightforward once you are clear of the Brussels area. Allow extra time if you land during the morning or evening rush hour, when traffic around Brussels can slow the first part of the trip. This is an occasionally booked route, so a private transfer is the simplest way to reach Assesse without planning connections.

Choosing the right vehicle

Couples and small families can take a private taxi, available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. Check your luggage as well as your headcount, since four people with large suitcases need more room than the seat count suggests. Larger parties can choose a private minibus:

• 8 seats for extended families or small groups
• 16 and 24 seats for wedding parties, club trips and company teams
• 32, 40 and 48 seats for large delegations, tour groups and events

If your group is close to the upper limit of a vehicle, choose the next size up for comfort and luggage space.

About Assesse

Assesse is a municipality in the province of Namur, in Wallonia, set in the green, rolling countryside of the Condroz region. It is a rural area made up of villages and farmland rather than a big city. That makes it a quiet base for visitors who want countryside surroundings while staying within reach of Namur. A door-to-door transfer is especially useful here, as the villages are spread out.
