Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Assent

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there without searching the arrivals hall.

The Drive from Brussels Airport to Assent

Assent lies 51 km (32 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes about 34 minutes. The route heads east into the Flemish Brabant countryside, away from the city centre. Weekday rush hours around the Brussels ring and the Leuven area can slow things down, so allow some extra time if you have a fixed appointment or a connection to make. Outside peak hours the trip is usually smooth.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

This route is booked less often than the big city transfers, but it is available on request like any other. A private taxi suits smaller parties: one option for up to 3 passengers and one for up to 4. For families with extra luggage or small groups, a private minibus with 8 seats gives more room. Larger parties such as wedding guests, company teams or club trips can book minibuses with 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats, so everyone travels together in a single vehicle.

About Assent

Assent is a small village in the municipality of Bekkevoort in Flemish Brabant. The setting is rural and quiet, with fields and farmland typical of the region and the town of Diest nearby. Visitors usually come for family visits, local events or a calm stay outside the big cities. Facilities in the village itself are limited, so it helps to confirm the exact pickup or drop-off address with your host or venue before you travel.
