Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Asbeek

The Drive from Zaventem to Asbeek

The route between Brussels Zaventem Airport and Asbeek covers 29 km (18 miles) and typically takes about 24 minutes. Asbeek lies west of the airport, so the journey usually means crossing or skirting the Brussels ring road area before heading into the quieter countryside. Weekday mornings and late afternoons are the busiest periods around Brussels, so it is sensible to allow some extra time if you have a fixed appointment or a tight schedule at the other end.

Asbeek is a less frequently booked destination, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route, with a private vehicle dedicated to your party alone.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

The vehicle you need depends mainly on how many people travel and how much luggage you carry:

• Private Taxi (1-3 passengers) suits solo travellers, couples and small families with standard luggage.
• Private Taxi (1-4 passengers) gives a group of four a car of their own for the whole trip.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats (1-8 passengers) works well for larger families or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 Seats (1-16 passengers) and the 24 Seats option fit business groups, wedding parties and club outings.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats cover large delegations and event groups arriving together, up to 48 passengers.

If your group sits close to the upper limit of a vehicle and carries a lot of luggage, choosing the next size up gives everyone more room.

About Asbeek

Asbeek is a small village in the municipality of Asse, in the province of Flemish Brabant. It has a rural, residential character, with fields and quiet roads rather than large tourist attractions. Visitors usually come here to see family or friends, for local events, or as a calmer base within reach of Brussels. Because the area is spread out and has limited facilities, a private transfer straight to your door is often the simplest way to arrive.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House inside Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can head there directly and meet your driver without delay.
