Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Arquennes

The drive from Brussels Airport to Arquennes

Arquennes lies 48 km (30 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport. In normal traffic the trip takes about 36 minutes. The route leaves the airport area, crosses the Brussels ring road and continues south into Wallonia. The ring is the part most likely to slow you down, so allow extra time on weekday mornings and late afternoons, and when you have a tight onward commitment. Arquennes is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other, and your driver takes you directly to the address you give.

Choosing the right vehicle

Smaller groups are best served by a private taxi. There is a version for 1-3 passengers and one for 1-4 passengers, which gives a little more room for a family with luggage. Larger parties can choose a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats, so a wedding party, a company group or a club trip can arrive together instead of splitting across several cars. If you travel with bulky items such as sports equipment or many suitcases, choose the next size up for comfort.

About Arquennes

Arquennes is a small village in the Walloon province of Hainaut, part of the municipality of Seneffe. It is a quiet, largely rural and residential place, a long way from the bustle of the capital. Most visitors come to see family or friends, to attend an event in the region, or to do business in the surrounding towns. Because it is a small village, it helps to have the exact street address or a nearby landmark ready for your driver.
