Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Appels

The Drive from Brussels Zaventem to Appels

Appels lies 51 km (32 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU). The drive typically takes around 45 minutes. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other. Your driver takes the most suitable road for the traffic on the day.

Brussels traffic is the main thing that can stretch the journey. Morning and late-afternoon rush hours around the capital and on the ring road are the usual culprits, and so are wet or foggy conditions. If you have a fixed appointment in Appels, build in a little extra time rather than counting on the shortest estimate.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

For smaller parties there are two private taxi options, one for up to 3 passengers and one for up to 4. Families or colleagues travelling with a fair amount of luggage may find the 4-passenger taxi gives more breathing room than a full 3-seater.

Larger groups are covered by private minibuses:

• 8 seats for bigger families or small teams
• 16 and 24 seats for wedding parties, clubs and business groups
• 32, 40 and 48 seats for large events, tour groups and company outings

Pick the size by headcount first, then check how much luggage you are bringing.
