Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Aparthotel AXL Flathotel Continental Stay, Brussels

The drive from Zaventem to your apartment hotel

The transfer from Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Aparthotel AXL Flathotel Continental Stay covers 18 km (11 miles) and normally takes around 28 minutes. Zaventem lies just outside the city, so the trip is a straightforward road journey into Brussels. Morning and late-afternoon rush hours, roadworks and events in the city can add time, so build in a buffer if you have a meeting or a fixed check-in window. This route is booked less often than some others, but it is available on request like any other.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle depends on how many people and how much luggage you bring:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, families and small groups with standard luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good choice for larger families or colleagues travelling together with several suitcases.
• Private Minibus 16 to 64 Seats: available in steps of 8 seats (16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56 and 64) for tour parties, school trips, sports teams and conference delegations.

If your group is close to the limit of a vehicle, choose the next size up so everyone has room for their bags.

Staying at Aparthotel AXL Flathotel Continental Stay

As the name suggests, this is an apartment-style place to stay in Brussels. That format often suits longer visits, business trips or families who want more space than a standard hotel room. Check the exact address on your booking confirmation and give it when you reserve, so the driver can take you straight to the entrance.

Brussels also has several long-established hotels, such as the Hotel Metropole on Place de Brouckère, the Hotel Amigo near the Grand-Place and the Brussels Marriott Hotel Grand Place. They give a sense of the range of accommodation the city offers, from historic grand hotels to modern apartments.
