Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Amercoeur

The drive from Zaventem to Amercoeur

The route covers 95 km (59 miles) and typically takes about 1 h 4 m by road. That is a fair stretch after a flight, so a door-to-door transfer is easier than juggling connections with luggage. Amercoeur is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but the transfer is available on request just like any other route.

Allow extra time if you travel during the weekday morning or late-afternoon rush, when traffic around Brussels slows down. Bad weather and roadworks can also add minutes, so if you have a tight appointment or a connecting booking, plan a comfortable buffer.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle you need depends on group size and luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, families and small business groups with standard luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16 and 24 Seats: work well for tour groups, sports teams and company delegations.
• Private Minibus 32, 40 and 48 Seats: intended for large groups, events and organised trips arriving together.

If you are close to the limit of a vehicle, or carrying bulky items such as sports equipment or musical instruments, choose the next size up for comfort.

About Amercoeur

Amercoeur is a residential area in Belgium rather than a major tourist hub, so most visitors come to see family, attend business appointments or stay with friends. Because it is a local neighbourhood, it helps to have the exact street address ready for your driver. This lets the journey end right at your door instead of at a general landmark.

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House in Brussels Zaventem Airport, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go straight there after baggage reclaim and meet your driver without delay.
