Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Alsdorf

The drive from Brussels Airport to Alsdorf

The route covers 142 km (89 miles) and typically takes 1 h 42 m. It leads east from Zaventem and across the border into Germany, ending in the Aachen region. Alsdorf is not one of our most frequently booked destinations, but the transfer is available on request just like any other. Allow some extra time if you travel during the morning or evening rush hours around Brussels, or if you have a tight connection, such as a business appointment or a hotel check-in deadline.

Choosing the right vehicle

A Private Taxi suits one to four passengers with normal luggage. Larger parties can choose a minibus: the 8-seat version works for families or small business teams, while the 16-seat and 24-seat options suit tour groups and company delegations. For bigger groups, such as club trips, conference delegates or school parties, there are minibuses with 32, 40 or 48 seats. Everyone travels together in one vehicle, so the group arrives at the same time.

Alsdorf and where to stay

Alsdorf is a town in North Rhine-Westphalia, in the Aachen district close to the Dutch and Belgian borders. It is known as a former coal-mining town, and that industrial past still shapes its identity. I cannot name long-established hotels in Alsdorf itself with confidence, so here are well-known ones in the nearby city of Aachen:

• Pullman Aachen Quellenhof, a large upscale hotel near the city's spa district
• Mercure Hotel Aachen Europaplatz, a practical business hotel
• Aquis Grana Cityhotel, located in the old town centre

If you stay in Aachen, tell us the address when booking and the driver will take you there directly.
