Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Aiseau

The drive from Brussels Airport to Aiseau

The route covers 85 km (53 miles) and typically takes 1 h 2 m by road. It leads south-west from Zaventem across Brabant and into the province of Hainaut. Aiseau is a less frequently booked destination, but it is available on request like any other. Allow some extra time if your transfer falls in the weekday morning or late afternoon rush around Brussels, or if there is heavy rain or roadworks on the motorways. The stated time is a typical figure, not a guarantee.

Choosing the right vehicle

Solo travellers, couples and small families will be comfortable in a Private Taxi, available for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. Larger groups can book a Private Minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. When choosing, think about luggage as well as headcount. If your party is close to the limit of a vehicle, the next size up gives everyone more space on a trip of just over an hour.

About Aiseau

Aiseau is a village in Wallonia, part of the municipality of Aiseau-Presles in Hainaut. It lies in the Sambre valley, between the cities of Charleroi and Namur. The area is mostly quiet and residential, with a mix of countryside and small towns. It suits visitors who are seeing family, attending a local event or doing business in the region.

Where to stay near Aiseau

Aiseau itself is small, and I cannot name hotels there with confidence. The nearest larger town with well-known accommodation is Charleroi, a short drive away. Established options there include the Mercure Charleroi Centre Gare and the ibis Charleroi Centre Gare, both close to the main railway station. Check the current details with the hotel before you travel. Your driver can drop you at whichever address you give when booking.

Meeting point at Brussels Airport

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House, holding a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find once you have collected your luggage, so you can go there directly and meet your driver without delay.
