Brussels Airport has raised concerns about major border-control delays expected during the Summer 2026 travel season. According to Travel Tomorrow, airport authorities are warning travelers to prepare for longer waiting times due to increasing passenger volumes and new European border procedures.
The introduction of the European Union’s new Entry/Exit System (EES) is expected to increase passport-control processing times for many international travelers entering the Schengen Area.
