Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Tielrode

The drive from Brussels Airport to Tielrode

Tielrode lies 46 km (29 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the drive typically takes about 43 minutes. This is a less frequently booked route, but it is available on request like any other, so your driver is arranged for your specific arrival. Most of the journey is on motorway, and the busiest stretch is usually around the Brussels ring road. On weekday mornings and late afternoons, traffic there can add noticeable time, so allow a buffer if you have a tight onward appointment. Bad weather and roadworks can also stretch the trip.

Choosing the right vehicle

The vehicle you need depends mainly on group size and luggage:

• Private Taxi (1-3 or 1-4 passengers): suits solo travellers, couples, small families and business travellers with standard luggage.
• Private Minibus 8 Seats: a good fit for larger families or friends travelling with extra bags.
• Private Minibus 16, 24, 32, 40 and 48 Seats: intended for tour groups, clubs, school parties and company events, with one vehicle carrying everyone together.

If your party is close to a vehicle's limit and you have bulky luggage such as sports gear or prams, choose the next size up for comfort.
