Brussels Zaventem Airport (BRU) to Bikschote

Meeting Point

Your driver waits at Java Coffee House with a personalised name sign. The spot is easy to find after you have collected your luggage, so you can walk straight there without searching the terminal.

The Drive to Bikschote

Bikschote is 139 km (87 miles) from Brussels Zaventem Airport, and the trip typically takes 1 h 32 m. Most of the route runs west across Flanders before smaller local roads lead into the village. Allow extra time if you land during the morning or evening rush hour around Brussels, or if the weather is poor. Bikschote is a less frequently booked destination, so it is worth arranging your transfer in advance.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Solo travellers, couples and small families can choose a private taxi for 1-3 or 1-4 passengers. Larger groups can book a private minibus with 8, 16, 24, 32, 40 or 48 seats. Pick the size that also leaves room for luggage, especially if you are travelling with suitcases for a longer stay.

About Bikschote

Bikschote is a small village in West Flanders, part of the municipality of Langemark-Poelkapelle. It sits in flat, open farmland in the Westhoek, a region known for its First World War history. Expect a quiet rural setting rather than a busy town centre, so it helps to have the exact address ready for your driver.

Places to Stay Nearby

Bikschote itself is very small, so for a wider choice of hotels many visitors look to Ypres (Ieper), a well-known town in the same region. Established options there include:

• Ariane Hotel
• Hotel Regina
• Albion Hotel

If you stay in Ypres rather than Bikschote, simply give your driver the hotel name when you book.
