The driver wasn't there when we arrived at Java Coffee so I rang the number given to be told he was parking the car. Driver was helpful and polite. His driving was not perfect including doing something on his GSM while driving on the autoroute. The vehicle was clean and comfortable.

Lovely driver, he even had a pillow so I could sleep in the van. Helped with the luggage etc, and had a friendly and professional manner. However I did not appreciate having to wait 15 minutes in the meeting point before the driver arrived (my flight landed at 21.35, I was at the meeting point at 21.50 and the driver arrived at 22.05). Other than that great experience and would recommend to others.

Conditions of using this website and our airport taxi transfer service


Booking a low cost private taxi transfer

Please note that reservation on the phone or sms is not possible. brusselsexpress.be accepts reservations only via its online reservation system or via email. In case of an email booking, the request is only confirmed, when you receive the booking confirmation voucher via email.
Please send your request via email, if:
- you cannot book online, because the requested transfer route is not available in the online reservation system;
- you cannot book online, because the number of passengers exceeds the available number in the online reservation system.

Airport pick-up time

Your driver will greet you at the airport meeting point. Please do not leave the meeting point. Your driver will monitor your flight and will wait you at the meeting point after your flight arrived. Please reach the meeting point as soon as possible. If you have any problem and delay due to your luggages or for anyother reason, please call your driver immediately.

Pick up time at the airport: usually it takes 25-35 minutes for the passengers to get to the meeting point after the flight landed. Therefore our drivers go to the airport meeting point 25-35 minutes after the scheduled flight arrival time. In case the flight arrives unexpectedly earlier, the passenger may have to wait for the driver. Please make sure that you give us the flight arrival time and not the time you think you will be at the meeting point.

Your comfort and safety

All vehicles are insured for the passengers and their luggages. Every vehicle is registered for passenger transportation and all our drivers have a professional driving licence.

Behaviour in the vehicle

All vehicles are non-smoking.

brusselsexpress.be and its drivers reserve the right to refuse to carry any person who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and/or whose behaviour is considered to pose a threat to the safety of the driver, the vehicle or the other passenger(s). The driver’s decision is final and no refund will be given in this situation.

Transfer reservation

It is strictly forbidden to negotiate a booking with the driver.

Passengers who don't have an official online booking are not insured, therefore brusselsexpress.be does not take any responsibility in case of an accident or lost/damaged luggages.

Picking up passengers without the proof of a pre-booked transfer booking confirmation at the airport is also forbidden by the Passenger Transportation Regulations of Brussels Airport. Only passengers who pre-booked their transfer at www.brusselsexpress.be are allowed to take a seat in the vehicle.

Cancellations and delays of the transfer

Cancellations and delays caused by the road conditions, weather conditions, strike, police control etc. and flight delays are out of the control of brusselsexpress.be

Cancellation by the passenger

If we receive your cancellation request more than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time of the transfer service you wish to cancel, the amount paid for this transfer will be refunded in full (deducting a handling fee of 5% but at least 15 euro). No monies will be refunded for cancellations received less than 48 hours from the scheduled time of the transfer service you wish to cancel. In these instances we will email you a cancellation note which may be used to claim the expense back against your tour operator, airline, or travel insurance provider.
 
Reservations can be cancelled via email or through our my booking section up to 48 hours before the pick-up or arrival time. After this period the service provider must be contacted directly by calling the phone number provided in the booking confirmation email.

Damaging the vehicle and/or leaving it in a dirty state

If the vehicle left is soiled for whatever reason, a mandatory fee of € 100.00 will be charged. This charge must be paid at the end of the journey directly to the driver.
When special cleaning is required, all costs must be paid by the passenger. Furthermore Passenger(s) will also be charged for the time and cost of the vehicle being out of operation (€ 40 per hour) during the cleaning process. By damaging the car in any way whatsoever, Passenger(s) will be charged a penalty fee of € 100.00. This charge is to be paid at the end of your journey directly to the driver. Passenger(s) will be reliable for any repair cost involved which will be payable via invoice. Next to the repair costs Passenger(s) will also be charged for the time and cost of the vehicle being out of operation (€ 40 per hour).

Important notes for online reservation

When we ask your FLIGHT DEPARTURE DATE AND TIME, we want to know the date and the time your flight will leave the airport and NOT your requested pick up time from your address.
If you give us your requested pick up time instead of the flight departure time, your reservation may be subject of cancellation. You can provide the requested pick up time in Step 3 of the online booking process.

Please make sure that you give us a mobile telephone number that works, so we can reach you. Don't forget to add the COUNTRY CODE of your mobile. If you give us a mobile number that is invalid or incomplete, your reservation may be subject of cancellation.

Babies and Children

We do our best to provide a comfortable travel service for the small ones. We can provide baby seats upon request. Please do mention your baby seat request in the "Additional Info" field in Step 3 of the online booking process.

Since babies and children travel in a baby seat, that occupies a full seat in the vehicle, therefore when you choose the number of passengers, please consider your child or baby as a passenger.

Please note that according to Belgian Rules babies and children MUST travel in a baby-seat or child-seat. In some unexpected situations it may happen that we are not able to provide the baby or child seat you requested. If you wish to guarantee your child's safety, please bring your own baby or child seat.

Flight delays

We monitor flights. All our drivers have a smart phone, so even if your flight has a delay, your driver will wait for you anyway, unless the vehicle is occupied for another passenger at the time your flight actually arrives. In such situation we cannot take the responsibility for your transfer.

Sharing the vehicle with other passengers

In the unlikely situation we are forced to ask our passengers to share the vehicle with other passengers travelling to the same direction at the same time, we offer 10 euro discount from the transfer fee.
